With its thorough map of broadband availability and generous grant funding to upgrade infrastructure and provide
high-speed internet to homes and businesses across the state, Georgia has led the nation in broadband initiatives.
Georgia is now prepared to continue spreading broadband throughout the
state thanks to additional funding that will be provided to the state for
broadband infrastructure and related initiatives.
The FCC, which offers $30 per month toward high-speed home internet, will be more widely known thanks to the efforts of a coalition of local leaders and community partners.
In order to encourage cooperation between state agencies, local governments, business representatives, community organizations, and others to advance the deployment of broadband services in Georgia, GTA organizes the Broadband Advisory Committee.
